EFT Tapping operates under the premise that there is an unresolved emotional component connected to all physical pain, dis-ease or lack of ability to move forward as desired. Tapping can be done completely by yourself or with the help of a trained practitioner to interview you about the experience you wish to clear. The recipient is asked to rate the level of discomfort in order to calibrate the progress of the session from beginning to end.

The practitioner listens to all aspects of “the story” from a neutral perspective and writes down key statements to form a script for the recipient to recite. The script begins with completely loving and accepting self even though this situation has occurred.

By tapping a series of specific acupressure points while verbally affirming statements suggested by the practitioner, the unresolved emotions become acknowledged, felt and released. This then creates the space to reprogram the cellular memory with the statements that match the intended outcome.

Most people report feeling lighter, tingly, more open or optimistic, and a sense of peace flowing throughout the body. Multiple sessions may be needed depending on the intensity of the issue needing clearing. Even just tapping the key spots without the verbal work can help shift energy.
